About the course

The course comes from a simple idea: a beginner needs someone sitting next to them

When the people who teach this course came into the job themselves, they learned at a live board with a colleague beside them. Within two weeks they had booked their first five loads. Most people who want to become dispatchers have nobody like that. The course is an attempt to put that person next to you.

Who teaches: working dispatchers

The lessons are taught in person. Not a recording, not an assistant, not “our team”.

4 years

In the job, four companies

Started in car hauling — and left in under a month: a different market, different boards, a different risk. Trucks ever since.

7–8 trucks

Being run right now

Working as a dispatcher during the course: the drivers are driving, the loads are moving. What is shown in a lesson is used the same day.

Reefer · Flatbed · Step Deck

And Power Only

Has worked Reefer, Flatbed, Step Deck and Power Only — knows each trailer’s market from real work, not from someone else’s slides.

Live board

DAT and Truckstop in the lesson

The board is shown in real time from a working account, on real loads. Students don’t get logins — you dig into it in the lesson.

How people come into this job

  1. Step 01

    Started in car hauling

And left in under a month: hauling cars is a different job with different risks for the dispatcher.

  2. Step 02

    Moved to reefer — trucking

Got asked to dispatch reefer, got a board — and a colleague sat alongside, showing how to find loads and talk to brokers.

  3. Step 03

    A two-week internship

Two weeks — the first five loads and a paid internship. Then two or three drivers straight away, then more.

  4. Step 04

Four years and four companies later

Today, seven or eight trucks and drivers. Still working as a dispatcher right now — and teaching exactly what the job is every day.

What we promise — and what we never promise

We promise you will understand the job

After the course you understand how a US truck dispatcher works: who is who in the market, how to find and run a load, how to talk to a broker and which documents pass through your hands.

We help you take the step

We help you write a CV, suggest where to send it, go through the questions asked at interviews and prepare you for them. Plus a month of messaging after the course — should I take this load or not.

We don’t promise a job or numbers

We don’t place people in jobs and don’t name a figure you will earn: we help you into the profession, and after that it is the market and you.

The wording we are prepared to sign:

“We don’t promise mountains of gold — we just explain this profession and help people work out whether it is for them.”

How the course works
